In order to give an idea of the different challenges faced by the company we have selected four projects to demonstrate the broad cross-section of challenges which have been faced and surmounted by The Lynch Mob.
Energex
| This project involved the installation and positioning of a 68 tonne Transformer. In itself this was not considered to be a difficult task. |
What made it interesting was the fact that after removal from the truck it had to be transported down a laneway, turned 90 degrees and moved into the bay with 1 metre clearance on each side |
| It then had to be rotated a further 90 degrees and positioned against the wall. |
| It is only through the unique 4 Point Lifting and Tracking System that this was possible. With a little help from The Lynch Mob technical team of course. | |
| For the company's relocation to new premises they enlisted the support of The Lynch Mob, a continuation of a 13 year relationship. |
Existing Plant and Machinery had to be removed from the old site, transported across town and re-installed at the new site |
| The Lynch Mob were responsible for all operations involved in this move including the preparation and building of the new footings |
The plant shown being installed is a 38 tonne Om Borer, one of only two in Australia |
| Seen here is the assembly and installation of the four quadrants of an Electric motor |
The complete unit is of 18 metres diameter and 82 tonnes per Quadrant |
| The Lynch Mob are the preferred lifters for Fisher
& Paykel Queensland and this status was more than justified with the installation of
this equipment. The floors of this factory are epoxy coated and it was imperative they were not scratched during the installation. Again this was accomplished due to the nature of the 4 Point Lift System and its tracking system |
